I pray you experience the love of Christ.
Ephesians 3:19
I didn’t start this work because I had it all figured out...
I started it because I needed it myself.
After a retreat where God rescued me from a seven-year affair, I knew I didn’t just want to stop the affair.
I wanted to heal well.
I wasn’t interested in surface-level behavior modification or trying harder to be “good.” I was learning new rhythms—daily Scripture, long walks, honest community—but inside, I was still wrestling with fear and identity.
Would my marriage survive?
Would this story define me forever?
Was I still worthy of joy, calling, and peace?
I wanted real transformation, not a temporary fix.
The Gap I Couldn’t Ignore
As I began looking for support, I noticed something painful.
Nearly everything labeled affair recovery was written for the man who was betrayed or the woman who was healing from betrayal. There was almost nothing for the woman who had the affair—especially the Christian woman.
The unspoken message was clear:
You are the problem, not the one worthy of care.
Shame lived in the silence.
I saw women trying to heal alone, terrified of being honest, stuck in cycles of willpower and self-punishment, believing God was disappointed in them.
I knew there had to be another way.
Why Safety Changed Everything
For a long time, I believed healing would come through time, prayer, and doing all the “right” things.
And those things mattered but they weren’t enough.
What I began to see, both in myself and in the women I walked with, was this: insight alone doesn’t create freedom.
Traditional talk therapy kept us analyzing instead of moving.
Willpower created resistance.
Advice created hiding.
And shame thrived wherever women felt pressured to change before they felt safe.
Everything shifted when I realized that healing happens when a woman feels safe enough to be honest.
Safe with God.
Safe in her body.
Safe with other people.
That’s when the nervous system settles.
That’s when truth can land.
That’s when real repentance, grief, and restoration can unfold.
How God Reframed Healing for Me
One of the most pivotal moments in my healing came when I encountered Ephesians 3:19 in a new way—the prayer that we would experience the love of Christ, not just know it intellectually.
That verse named what I had been missing.
I didn’t need more information about God’s love.
I needed to feel it in my body.
I needed it to restore my dignity and quiet my fear.
As I began healing my body, heart, soul, and mind together, something profound happened.
The hypervigilance softened.
I stopped waiting for a text or notification to decide how I felt.
I began making choices from a healed self instead of a shame-filled one.
Freedom didn’t come from forcing myself to do better.
It came from learning how to be present, regulated, and rooted in love.
The Work I Do Now
Today, I’m an Affair Recovery Coach, and I walk with Christian women as they move from shame into freedom, joy, and peace through whole-being healing with Jesus at the center.
My work integrates:
- Nervous-system regulation and somatic practices
- Parts-work–informed coaching
- Deeply compassionate Biblical theology
- Intimacy with God as lived relationship, not performance
I lead with a Projector energy and invitational approach—meaning I don’t push, pressure, or prescribe. I listen, reflect, and help women come home to themselves and to God.
I don’t tell women what to do.
I help them feel safe enough to choose differently.
